Does Environment Shape Who You Are?
We are where we live, do you agree?
Do you ever wonder about how your environment alters your behavior? Let me take you on a journey.
Sally is a woman from Kenya. She grew up on a farm with horses and goats, she lives in a hut. For the first 30 years of her life, she is content with raising the horses and goats. Walking 8 miles on a dirt road for water well, she spends 5 hours walking for water each day.
One day on her 30th birthday, she imagines, “Could there be a different living situation elsewhere in the world?”
This is the beginning of her journey of moving across the continent to London, England. Today, she is 40 years old. She is the program director of the British Museum. She works with tourists from all over the world.
Exhibition of ancient animals, she takes care of the visitors and events happening in the museum. Her life turned 360 with the simple question 10 years ago, “Is there more?”
She dresses sophisticatedly and wears chic glasses. She loves how she looks and feels. She feels like a Casanova. No sign or hint that she is from a remote farm village in Kenya. London has shifted her outlook on life completely.
Beauty is daring
Beauty is recreating life with faith in yourself
Beauty is just in the mundane, ordinary
